God's Simple Plan of Salvation
Why We Need To Be Saved
1. We are all sinners.
Romans 3:23"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God".
Romans 5:12"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."
2. The penalty (punishment) for sin is death!
Romans 6:23"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Hebrews 9:27 "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."
When Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden took the temptation that the Serpent laid before them, Sin entered the world to be passed down from them, till now. God had a plan then for the sin of the world!
How This Is Made Possible
3. God's Love For Us.
John 3:16"For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
4. Christ died on the Cross for our sins!
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
It doesn't matter what you have done, how bad you think you have been, or that no one could love someone like yourself, God does, and so much, that he gave His Only Begotten Son, to die for your sins that you might have eternal life, a home in Heaven, joy unspeakable and a life worth living!
How To Accept This Free Gift From God!
5. We must receive His free gift of salvation!
Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:13 "For whosever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
